He is a partner in Harasic, Medina & Dal Pozzo Ltda. law firm, where he practices as litigation lawyer in civil, criminal, constitutional, free competition, and adversarial-administrative cases.<\/p>\n

Mr. Harasic has a wide experience in high-complexity litigations, and has been recognized in international rankings several times (Chambers & Partners, Leading Lawyers).
\nCurrently, he works as Dean of Universidad de Chile Law School (2015 \u2013 2018), and is a full professor of Procedure Law at the same Law School.<\/p>\n

Previously, Mr. Harasic was an undergraduate professor in the areas of Civil and Criminal Procedure Law at Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile (1986-1989); Universidad Diego Portales (1986-1989), and he has taught several courses at the Judicial Academy.<\/p>\n

Mr. Harasic has been peer reviewer at the National University Accreditation Committee, and was part of assessing committees in different universities and law schools.<\/p>\n

He was the creator and director of the Department for Law Clinic Training at Universidad de Chile (1989-1998), and Director of the Law School, Faculty of Law, at the same university (1998-2001).<\/p>\n

Mr. Harasic was a member of the Board of Governors of Universidad Alberto Hurtado (from its creation to 2010), serving as General Secretary until July 2007, and later as a member of the board of directors until 2014.<\/p>\n

He has published numerous essays, studies, and articles in law publications, especially on the procedural law area.<\/p>\n

During his career, Mr. Harasic has worked as lawyer and counselor at the Council for the Defense of the State (1972\u20131996), serving as deputy chairman of the said body (1990-1996); counselor at the Legal Assistance Corporation; editor of the magazine \u201cLaw and Jurisprudence\u201d (1978\u20131984); member lawyer of the Santiago Court of Appeal (1990); member of the Expanded Board of Governors at the magazine \u201cMensaje\u201d (1996-2005); and he was a member of the Bar Association General Council (2013-2015).<\/p>\n

Mr. Harasic was chairman of Chile Transparente, the Chilean chapter of Transparence International (2005\u20132008), and a member of the Probity Committee formed by President Bachelet (2007), where he prepared the proposal for the current law on Access to Information.<\/p>\n

Until December 2016, Mr. Harasic was founder partner of the law firm \u201cHarasic & L\u00f3pez Ltda.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Mr. Garc\u00eda is a Criminal Law professor at Universidad Adolfo Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez since 2016, where he teaches Crime Theory and Punitive Power. He was also an assistant professor for the Criminal Law cycle taught by Professor Miguel Soto Pi\u00f1eiro (2010-2015), and assistant to Professor Antonio Bascu\u00f1\u00e1n Rodr\u00edguez in his courses on Comparative Punitive Public Law (2014) and Bioethics and Criminal Law (2015); all courses were taught at Universidad de Chile Law School.<\/p>\n

He has been a speaker at the XIII Chilean Conference on Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences (2016), where he presented his work \u201cEl alcance del delito de cohecho en el ordenamiento jur\u00eddico penal chileno: la atipicidad de comportamientos que no son propios del cargo ni contrarios a los deberes del cargo\u201d and has been a speaker at the XVI Chilean Conference on Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences (2019), where he presented his work \u201cLa negociaci\u00f3n incompatible de directores y gerentes de sociedades an\u00f3nimas como un delito de peligro concreto contra el patrimonio\u201d.<\/p>\n

He has published different comments on criminal jurisprudence in \u201cRevista de Ciencias Penales\u201d since 2015.<\/p>\n

From 2014 to 2016 Mr. Garc\u00eda was an associate lawyer at Dal Pozzo & Medina Abogados. Previously, he worked as a paralegal in Antitrust group at the law firm Cariola Diez P\u00e9rez-Cotapos y C\u00eda. Ltda. (2011).<\/p>\n
